Annual plan saved money

I was looking for a website builder and decided to try Webydo. I signed up for the annual plan for the Professional Website Builder, which gave me a good discount, I think it was around 20% off the monthly price. The Custom Fonts Integration was a nice touch for branding. Everything downloaded instantly after signing up. It felt like a good deal for the features offered, definitely worth the money compared to paying month-to-month. The setup for the SSL Certificates was also included.

Good for design work

The Pixel Perfect Editor was great. I built a site quickly. Custom domain hosting setup was simple. No code needed. Satisfied with the service.

Love the drag and drop

This platform is fantastic! I just finished building my portfolio site using the Drag and Drop Editor on Webydo and it looks incredible. The process was so intuitive, I didn't need any coding skills at all. The Video Backgrounds feature really made my site pop, and the Web Design Templates were a great starting point. I'm so happy with how it turned out. I'll definitely be recommending this to my design friends!

Good for agencies, but pricey

As an agency, the Multi-Site Management and Client Billing Tool features on Webydo are super helpful for our workflow. It definitely streamlined things for us. The Responsive Design Tool worked well enough for most projects. My main gripe is the cost; it's a bit on the higher side, especially if you're managing many smaller client sites. Also, I wished the e-commerce integration was a little more robust, it's okay but not amazing. Delivery was instant since it's a subscription.

Easy to use for clients

I used Webydo to build a website for a small local business, and it went pretty well. The drag and drop editor was straightforward. My client liked that they could make small updates easily themselves without bugging me constantly, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it felt pretty good to use.

Thinking of switching from Webflow to Webydo. For those who've used both, how do they compare? Is Webydo easier for a designer without much dev background?

P Paula G. 1 month ago
I find Webydo a bit more intuitive for pure design, especially the pixel-perfect stuff. Webflow can feel a bit more developer-y at times with all the classes and interactions, but both are powerful.

Honestly, they both have their pros. Webydo feels very 'designer first'. If you're coming from a graphic design background and want to build without touching code, it's a solid option. Webflow has a steeper learning curve but gives you insane control once you get it.

Wondering about the whole annual payment vs monthly. Is it actually worth it to pay for a full year upfront with Webydo, or are the savings not that big?

P Priya Reyes 2 months ago
Oh for sure, it's worth it. You usually save like 15-25% by going annual. That adds up pretty quick, especially for an agency.

I always do annual for my tools. The discount is usually decent enough, and then I don't have to think about it for a whole year. Plus, it's just less admin.

Can you use your own custom fonts with Webydo? Super important for branding across all my client sites.

P Phil Beaumont 1 month ago
Absolutely, they have custom font integration. It's one of their strong suits for designers.

Does Webydo even offer a free trial anymore? I want to test it out before committing to anything.

T Troy 2 months ago
Yep, they still have a free trial! I just signed up a couple months ago and got one.

I'm pretty sure they do. It's usually a month, I think? Enough time to get a feel for it.

Hey guys, thinking about Webydo for my agency. Does anyone know if they still do that white-label thing? It'd be super useful for client projects.

D Dan J. 2 months ago
Yeah, they totally do! I've been using it for a couple of years now and the white-label option is a lifesaver. Makes everything look super professional to my clients.

I think so, my buddy just signed up for a plan last month and said that was one of the big reasons he went with them. Pretty sure it's standard for their agency-focused plans.

Is Webydo actually good for e-commerce sites? Or is it more for brochure sites and portfolios? Need to build some online stores for clients.

D Derek C. 2 months ago
They have e-commerce integration, but it's not like a full-blown Shopify. It works well for smaller shops or adding a few products, but if you need really heavy e-commerce features, you might wanna look at the specifics.

T Tom 1 month ago
I used it for a client's simple shop with maybe 20 products and it was fine. The integration worked, didn't have any major headaches. Depends on how complex your e-commerce needs are though.

I saw something about Black Friday deals for Webydo. Are those usually significant, or just a small discount? Planning to subscribe around then if it's worth it.

T Tara R. 2 months ago
They usually have pretty decent Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales. I picked up my annual plan during one of those and saved a good chunk. Definitely worth waiting if you can.

M Megan 2 months ago
Yeah, check around that time. They tend to have bigger promos then for new sign-ups.

How do you actually apply a promo code on Webydo? Is it in the cart or do you have to do it during account setup?

M Mike Osei 2 months ago
You apply it at checkout when you're picking your plan and entering payment info. There's a field for it there.

It's just a box at the very end of the subscription process, before you confirm payment. Can't miss it.
